Portrait and Lifestyle Sessions // Starting at $350

Families, newborns, seniors, graduates, engagements, bridals, musicians, milestone events, or anything outside of the box that fits your needs. This type of session will consist of up to two hours of shooting, and within a couple weeks, a full gallery of artistic images that capture your story. This gallery is all yours to download, make prints with the vendor of your choice, and share online. To a certain extent, I believe that more is more, so I don’t hold back on the number of images that make the cut. You’re likely to take home at least 100 photos.

Weddings // Starting at $2100

When someone is interested in hiring me for their wedding day, I like to set up a Google Meet video call to chat and see if we vibe. When I first started photographing weddings, I thought there was a certain formula of what shots I was supposed to do. Like hanging the dress in a cool spot and taking a picture without you in it. The wedding industry has brainwashed us all into believing we need these commercialized things. I’m not trying to schmooze your other vendors or get published in a magazine. My goal is to document your day and the feelings that come with it.

Tell me what’s special to you, and what moments you’re most excited for me to capture. I will ask you questions and get you thinking about ideas I’ve gained from all my past wedding experience. I will communicate with you in the planning process and help by laying out a detailed timeline incorporating your wedding day events with the photography schedule. For a full wedding day, I typically expect to be on-duty shooting for around 6-8 hours, with a short dinner break. I understand it’s tough to know exactly how many hours of photography you’ll need when you’re in the very beginning stages of wedding planning. For this reason, I break down my pricing at $350/hr, and only require a $700 deposit to reserve your date. This amount will go toward the first two hours of coverage, and we will set up another meeting a few months before the wedding to discuss the schedule and sign off on the amount of time I will be there. Final delivery will be within 6-8 weeks through an online gallery, usually containing at least 1000 photos.

Elopements // Starting at $350

If you don’t want to make a huge fuss about planning an elaborate wedding, I would love to be there for you to preserve the memory. My approach is documentary style, capturing the event as it happens, ending with a brief portrait session outside at the location. Some courthouses may not allow a photographer inside, but could possibly be persuaded into holding a quick ceremony right outside. I could also meet you for portraits in your wedding attire at the location of your choice and skip the courthouse part altogether if you prefer. We could plan a shoot at your favorite bar, even. Choose your own adventure!

Retouching Requests

My editing style is documentary-inspired with minor artistic adjustments where I see fit. Before delivering your final gallery, I will likely spot out that distracting power outlet on the wall behind your head, along with that darn scab on your son’s chin. I view your gallery as a work of art in it’s entirety, and spend most of my efforts on making the photos feel cohesive as a whole to tell your story. Having said that, I am open to more in-depth retouching requests on individual images. For example, if we have several back-to-back group portraits where grandma was mid-sentence in the only image where the toddler isn’t crying, but she looks absolutely radiant in the next shot, I can probably combine the two so you can have your perfect frame-able picture. I only take retouching requests for photos I’ve shot, or if I have written permission from the original photographer. Some ideas may not be possible, and pricing is determined on a case by case basis depending on the difficulty of the request. Just ask, and we can talk further!

I can’t wait to hear from you!

This podcast episode focuses on reframing the negative feelings people tend to have around being photographed. If podcasts are your thing, I’d recommend giving it a listen before your session.
